Summary:
The purpose of the Kress Warranty and KresSolutions Policy is to outline warranty
and service repair definitions to Kress Dealers as guidance related to after-sales
support of the Kress branded products. This Policy and Procedures document is
incorporated in the Kress Dealer Sales and Service Agreement (the “DSSA”).
Policies and Procedures
1. Product Warranty. Kress will deliver a product warranty coverage table to our
dealers in bulletin format and update them prior to new product launches. All
warranty bulletins will be viewable in and downloadable from the Kress Dealer
Portal.
2. Kress Warranty Labor Rate Form. All new Kress dealers will submit the Kress
Warranty Labor Rate Form which includes capturing the following:
a) A dealer’s posted shop labor rate.
b) Three examples of current paid service invoices clearly showing
the date and posted shop labor rate charged to the customer.
c) A dealer may submit labor rate increase requests twice annually
in January and July through the Kress Service Set Up Form.
3. KresSolutions
All Kress dealers will have available to them a full-service manual entitled
KresSolutions Handbook that includes procedural information and additional
detail for all After Sales Support policies. Any additions/changes to the manual
will be highlighted in an updated version with an announcement published in
bulletin format. The KresSolutions manual and all bulletins will be viewable and
downloadable from the Kress Dealer Portal.
4. Kress Service Parts
Kress Dealers will be provided with recommended common repair parts lists for
suggested stocking.
